The Oslo Opera House is a magnificent building which allows you to walk on its roof! It is near a lot of restaurants, shopping malls and public transport, as well as the Munch Museum. It is also a perfect place to take pictures and enjoy a nice view from.

The Munch museum is one of Oslos biggest attractions, featuring impressive works from numerous artists such as the famous “Scream” by Edvard Munch. Children up to 17 have free entry, and tickets for ages 18-25 cost 100kr. The Munch Museum is very close to the Oslo Opera House, so if you want to kill to birds with one stone, visiting this area is ideal.

Vigelands Parken, also known as Frognerparken is a beautiful park known for its amazing display of statues. Not only its it a perfect place to hangout and relax, but it is very central and easy to get to, with several cafes being located both inside of it and near it. Especially nice place to visit if there is nice weather.

The Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art contains numerous outstanding exhibitions that are definitely worth checking out. All children under 20 have free access to the museum. Additionally, there are many good ice cream shops nearby, Paradis Gelateria being one of the best.

Getting to Oslo

By Air

Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL) is the main international gateway, located 50 km north of the city. The Airport Express train (Flytoget) reaches Oslo Central Station in approximately 20 minutes.

By Train

Oslo Central Station connects Norway with Sweden via direct rail links. Intercity trains from Bergen, Trondheim, and Stavanger arrive directly at Oslo S. The venue is accessible by T-bane (metro) from the city centre.

Local Transport

Blindern Videregående Skole at Sognsveien 80 is well-served by Oslo's public transport network. Take T-bane line 5 to Blindern station, or bus routes 23, 24, and 25 which stop right by the school. The Ruter app makes ticketing straightforward.
